Warwick New York Hotel launches “Boudoir & caviar” guest experience

Warwick New York Hotel, the legendary Midtown Manhattan hotel built by William Randolph Hearst, is pleased to launch today the “Boudoir & Caviar” guest experience in partnership with photographer Zach Hyman, Joli Beauty Bar, and NYC-based lingerie designer Angela Friedman. The intimate package is available exclusively when booking the Jane Suite, one of the Warwick New York’s five Signature Suites, and includes a boudoir photoshoot experience unlike any other, complemented by a fun and flirty overnight stay.

The Jane Suite Influence

The Boudoir & Caviar experience is crafted to highlight the provocative energy of Hollywood starlet Jane Russell, the namesake inspiration for the Warwick Signature Suite, the Jane Suite. Overflowing with her signature brand of bombshell sensuality, the Jane Suite draws on little touches of the legendary Jane Russell, who is credited by many for popularizing the modern-day brassiere.  A gilded frame displays a 1950s swimsuit in the main foyer, giving guests a taste of the pinup-style glamour that lies ahead. Further inside, the suite’s walls are bedecked with portraits of Russell and Marilyn Monroe along with a series of figurative paintings that recall the flawless curves that both women made iconic. The sumptuous four-poster bed serves as the bedroom’s focal point and is covered in soft white linens.

The hotel’s five Signature Suites were designed under the direction of Stephanie Ellis-Carmody, Interior Design International’s Design Director, and all offer a refreshed look that seamlessly blends the property’s rich history with the sophisticated styling of modern-day hospitality.

Boudoir & Caviar Guest Experience

This intimate boudoir experience comes complete with overnight accommodations in the hotel’s signature Jane Suite and detailed preparation for a memorable, one-a-kind event. The photoshoot portion includes a two-hour session with renowned NYC photographer Zach Hyman, a pre-shoot primping and pampering session, and access to a fashionable wardrobe selection. NYC beauty service provider Joli Beauty Bar provides one-hour of in-suite hair and makeup preparation, while guests booking the experience receive access to a fully furnished Angela Friedman lingerie closet with easy and convenient on-demand purchase available.

The package will also offer a way for couples to enjoy the seductive nature of the Jane Suite together –upon conclusion of the photoshoot, a special delivery is sent to the suite featuring chocolate-covered strawberries, a bottle of Champagne and a luxurious caviar in-suite picnic featuring the finest from Petrossian. Breakfast in bed is provided by the hotel the following morning.

Lingerie Closet On-Demand by Angela Friedman

Warwick New York partnered with Manhattan-based Angela Friedman – a lingerie, loungewear and corset designer – to bring an elegantly appointed intimates closet to the Jane Suite, available for guest try-ons and direct purchases. Inspired by the Boudoir & Caviar experience yet available to all guests booking the Jane Suite, the hand-selected collection of silk and French lace pieces keep in theme with the romanticism of the Suite. Guests may choose from delicate camisoles, robes, and lingerie sets for an elegant and private shopping experience with the convenience of a closet-to-bed purchase.

Featured pieces of the lingerie closet in the Warwick’s Jane Suite include some of Angela Friedman’s bestsellers – a black floor-length tulle dressing robe, a ballet pink camisole and shorts set with delicate gold lace appliques, and the show-stopping three-piece red lingerie set in soft transparent mesh. These pieces amongst others are available for immediate purchase.

Angela Friedman’s intimates line is comprised of vintage-inspired designs with luxurious materials and meticulous craftsmanship with delicate details and color palette drawn from her previous work in ballet costumes. Angela creates her samples by hand in a Manhattan atelier, and all of her designs are manufactured in the USA.

Currently available, guests can book this two-night package with limited availability now through Sept. 15, 2015, with rates beginning at $2,000 per night.
