Warwick New York Hotel Completes 10,000-Square-Foot Function Space Renovation

NEW YORK, March 2, 2018 – The iconic Warwick New York hotel has completed renovations of 10,000 square feet of function space to further blend its rich history with elegant modernity. The newly renovated space features nine modular meeting rooms, all on the 2nd floor, that can be used for corporate meetings, social events, press parties, product launches, tradeshows, exhibits and other events within the four-star hotel.

“Our newly renovated function space is the latest element in our efforts to meet the world-class expectations of our discerning guests,” said General Manager Emmanuel Traore. “We already have the most central location in Midtown and can now offer guests modern and flexible function space that provides the perfect complement to our locale.”

Built by media giant William Randolph Hearst for his love, actress Marion Davies, the hotel has long been a favorite of celebrities ranging from Cary Grant, who lived in the hotel for 12 years, The Beatles (who held their famed first U.S. press conference at the hotel) and Elvis Presley, to Audrey Hepburn, James Dean, Marilyn Monroe and luminaries from present day.

Centrally situated in the heart of midtown Manhattan, the hotel’s prime location on the corner of 54th Street and Avenue of the Americas provides convenient access to all public transportation and major destination landmarks such as the Museum of Modern Art, Central Park, Radio City Music Hall and shopping along Fifth Avenue. Accommodations at the historic hotel feature 426 guest rooms, which includes 59 suites, and eight Signature Suites with balconies overlooking Central Park and the city.

In addition to the function space renovations, Executive Chef Jimmy Sakatos is introducing new menus at the hotel’s signature restaurant Randolph’s Bar and Lounge. Designed to offer the classic feel of an elegant living room, Randolph’s serves lunch and dinner. Breakfast is served at Murals on 54 which features the historic original murals painted by Dean Cornwell, “the Dean of American Illustrators.”
