Executive Chef Jean Luc Amann brings more than 30 years of internationally acknowledged culinary experience, having catered to the dignitary likes of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, King Abdula of Jordan, the late Princess Diana, Prince Charles, Prince Andrew, Prince Harry, Angela Merkel and King Juan Carlos Alfonso of Spain. One of the many celebrities included the late Michael Jackson and his entourage.
Born in France, Chef Jean Luc got his culinary diploma from the Strasbourg Hotel School and became the Master Chef of France as well as a member of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, an International Association of Gastronomy now established in over 80 countries, in 2005.
In his role as Executive Chef at Warwick Hotel Dubai, Chef Jean Luc will oversee all culinary aspects of the property’s six various food and beverage offerings which include Grill 44 Restaurant & Lounge, Zenses Pan-Asian Restaurant, Zephyr Rooftop Lounge, Bayty All-Day
Dining, Jimmy Wickets Sports Bar & Lounge and Deli Grind. Chef Jean Luc will bring innovative gastronomic ideas to the Warwick’s culinary scene by incorporating European flavours and local Arabic ingredients from the local markets of Dubai.
The Middle East is a fascinating region where Chef Jean Luc cooked for many years since 1980’s. However, every day he still learns more about the region’s flavours and contributes his own. “I am thrilled to be back in the Middle East and my vision for the hotel is to bring the guest’s dining experience to the next level by developing the uniqueness of food, service and ambience within all the Warwick Hotel Dubai’s food and beverage outlets,” says the talented Frenchman.
